"Despite having drawn so much about romance and schoolgirls, the children’s style is the one I most feel and, I believe, the one I’m best at", writes Trini in her autobiographical sketch published in 1983 in the magazine "Bruguelandia". Indeed, through Trini's feather have passed a huge number of boys and girls, at the same time sweet and witty, and a large scope of children's situations which not only are attractive to the young readers, but also contain the necessary care for details and customs which turns the scenes into vivid expressions of the charming childhood missed by all, and permanently (albeit secretly) lived by many... It has been written about Trini's children's illustrations that "from her hand springs a burst of sweetness, without ever falling into an overelaborate or sugary style (...) They are idyllic and amusing pictures for children, but at the same time they are ageless. It is difficult to find examples of children's artists, at an international level, who outshine in tenderness the drawings of Trini Tinturé" (Esteve Balcanera for the supplement of the "Club of the Artist" n. 36, February 1988)
