Trini masters the technique of colour and, moreover, she thoroughly enjoys it. However, because of the way the world of comic is structured, artists have to produce many more pages in black and white (inside) than in colour (normally covers). In addition, in recent years the tendency by publishing houses of opting for a photograph, instead of a drawing, as cover picture has increased. It is a matter of styles. Even so, Trini has realised, and continues realising, a great number of ilustrations in colour - recently also for cards/posters/advertising besides for covers of comics or books. According to art critic
Ŕngels Artós, "all of Trini's styles - children, teens, horses, etc. -
acquire a special vivacity when they are expressed in her delicate and
attractive colouring which take further, if at all possible, the suggestive but
imperceptible ondulation of the forms that delight the eyes by composing scenes
now daily, now fantastic, now sensual, now simply charming" (supplement "Club
of the Artist", n. 28, October 1984)
